Why we love it
An exclusive Spanish red wine from the Toro region that embodies the excellence and passion of the Monte La Reina estate.
This pure Tinta de Toro reveals a deep and complex bouquet of ripe black fruits, cocoa, vanilla, and elegant oak notes from its barrel aging. On the palate, it unfolds a powerful structure, velvety tannins, and a majestic finish of impressive length.
The perfect accompaniment for a beef fillet, roasted game, or mature Iberian cheeses.
Visual phase: Cherry red colour with purple hues, clean and clear with a covering layer and fine tears.
Olfactory phase: It has an intense and complex aromatic potential. Notes of ripe red and black fruits appear, almost marmalade, enveloped by elegant toasted notes and numerous spices, marked by a soft and creamy character, with a touch of pastry and cocoa. Elegant minerality in the background, quite present.
Taste phase: On the palate, it has a surprisingly silky and round taste, very creamy with slight glyceral nuances. A subtle fruit aftertaste and mineral notes. A very friendly wine, tasty and easy to drink.
Pairings: It goes perfectly with rock fish, meat stews, semi-refined cheeses and game dishes such as pheasant or partridge. Also ideal for chocolate desserts.
